When one thinks of companies associated with rodeos, one brand usually stands out: Coors.

Research confirms the brand’s ubiquity in the rodeo space. Forty-five percent of rodeos with a sponsor in the malt beverage category report Coors as a sponsor, according to IEG.

Other likely suspects follow close behind with Ram Trucks (41 percent), Wrangler apparel (38 percent) and Justin Boots (32 percent) the second, third and fourth most active sponsors, respectively.

In total, banks are the most active category sponsoring rodeos. Banks are 6.2 times more likely to sponsor rodeos than the average of all sponsors. Other active categories include apparel and accessories (5.5) and heavy equipment and machinery (5.2).
